An Indoor, free style, G Scale Model Railroad with real water falls and a real water creek. This is nestled in a very steep mountain area of the Gum Wa Chee Forest, or Land of Big Trees. This very well could be the littlest biggest G scale indoor layout of all times. This has a lot of features that even the largest layouts may not have. It is about lumber , mining, and a small town, anywhere in the high mountains of the USA
It has 8 switch backs, reversing the direction of the train.
11 Hand built trestles including, the curved, 100'' x 42 '' high Wapie Cashseia, tall timbered trestle
Over 40 scratch built structures
Hundreds of trees from inches to 75" tall
Real water in the log flume, log pond, and town creek.
20'' scratch built turntable
Lights through out
And only about 90' of mainline
But most of all, it has real purpose, where raw material are railed into town, from the saw mill, and the mining area of the layout, and set up in town for a main line train.
The layout was started, Nov. 2010, and completed on June 17, 2015, with the ceiling track line built first, that doesn't not belong to the U&B RR, even though it passes through the tall trees in two places.
